Nativity Scene
One of the most important Christmas traditions in Valencia is the Nativity Scene. During this time, a large scene (called “Belén”) is displayed by City Council in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. There are also smaller versions in the homes of locals and sold in stores as well.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

The night of Christmas Eve is one to celebrate with family to enjoy this special time. There will also be a midnight mass at the Cathedral (called ”Misa del Gallo”), which is one of the most important masses throughout the year. On Christmas there will be a choir, and special events for children and families.
The Three Wise Men

A special day for children and families! The three Wise Men will travel from the Port of Valencia and end in the City Hall where they will grant presents and sweets to children. The next morning the children receive the gifts that they asked for, and afterwards eat the famous Roscón de Reyes cake. A very famous holiday tradition of Valencia!
