You can’t come to Valencia and not visit the City of Arts and Sciences! There’s so much to do and so much to see with all the architecture and innovation. The City of arts and Sciences is composed of several buildings with different architecture.
Although Valencia is one of the oldest cities in Spain, it has an innovative outlook with the addition of the largest modern leisure complexes in Spain! The aquarium, Oceanogràfic, should be at the top of your to do list! It is the largest aquarium in all of Europe! Come check out over 45,000 animals and 500 different species! Do you want to get up close with our sea animals? If so, walk through our underwater tunnel alongside sharks, stingrays and more! While in the city of arts and sciences, be sure to make a stop to the cinema, Hemisfèric located right on the water. This theatre is advanced in technology. The cinema offers three projecting systems including IMAX DOME cinema, digital 3D cinema, and digital imagery! There are many fun outdoor activities you can get involved in too! For only 5 euros, you can stand up paddle in the lake of the city of arts and sciences or you can get in a water ball and walk on water for just 5 euros! There are also transparent kayaks for two people available to rent for the cheap price of 2.50 euros!
