We will spend the morning in the City of Arts and Sciences as this architectural complex offers several activities to do. We will highlight the largest aquarium in Europe: el Oceanográfico, where you can enjoy watching sharks, penguins, belugas, seals and much more. You can take a walk outside looking at the different buildings that make it up.
Afterwards, we will head for the beach, where we can eat the Paella in one of the many bars in the area. In the afternoon, we will visit the Cabañal and the Beach of the Malvarrosa. The beach is a must if you come to valencia. You can walk the promenade or enjoy this wide beach sunbathing. The nearby and traditional fishing district El Cabañal will conquer you with its peculiar buildings. In the evening, you can also enjoy a beautiful sunset dining in one of the restaurants on the beach.
The next day, we will travel in the morning part of the old River Turia bed. It is the green lung of the city since its full journey is 9km. It offers jogging lanes, soccer courts, ping pong and chess tables, children’s playgrounds and many lawns for yoga or relaxing for a while. You can walk a part or rent a bike and tour it completely.
We will visit the historical center of the city where we will visit El Miguelete, the Central Market (open Monday to Saturday in the morning) and La Lonja. You can easily travel by foot. At lunchtime, we will head for Barrio del Carmen, this peculiar neighborhood of Valencia that has its own character. After recovering, we will spend the afternoon visiting the Towers of Serrano, the Town Hall Square and the Plaza de la Virgen.
