There is so much to do in Valencia you would never get bored. There is always something going on, whether it’s a festival, show, or parade, there’s constant entertainment. If you are only here for a short period of time, the best things to do in Valencia are the City of Arts and Sciences and the beach!
The City of Arts and Sciences is a must see. The modern architecture is beautiful, and there is plenty to do starting from the largest aquarium in Europe. The aquarium is called Oceanogràfic. There are over 45,000 animals and 500 different species! It even has an underwater tunnel you can walk through to get a closer look at all the sharks, sting rays, fish, and more! There is also an Antarctic tower where you can find penguins and whales! After the aquarium, be sure to stop by the cinema, Hemisfèric. It is located right on the water! Outside the theatre, there are many fun activities! You can get inside an inflatable ball and run on water! You can also kayak. Each of these outdoor activities cost five euros. After the theatre, make a stop to the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum! You can learn all about dinosaurs and the human genome in the Chromosome Forest!
Besides the City of Arts and Sciences, check out Malvarrosa beach! Here you will find a long boardwalk filled with shops, restaurants, and bars!
