The Valencia airport is sometimes referred to as Manises airport. It is located twenty minutes from the Estació del Nord. You can reach the airport easily by metro. Line 3, Rafelbunyol-Aeroport and Line 5, Aeroport Maritim-Serreria connect to the airport from the port and the city center. It is roughly fifteen minutes by metro and costs five euros. However, if you have a late flight, the metro may not be the best option. It stops running around 10:30pm.
Another option to get to the Valencia airport is by taxi. A taxi ride to the airport is about twenty euros. Unfortunately, there are no busses that run to or from the Valencia airport.
If you’re planning on going outside the city often, a good option would be to rent a car. Vehicles can be rented at the airport. So, you can either take the metro, taxi, or rent a car!
The Valencia airport has both domestic and international flights, however, they are mainly domestic. Often times, if you want to fly far internationally, you may have to fly out of Madrid. Perhaps take a train to madrid to catch an international flight.
Inside the Valencia airport you can find many shops where you can purchase souvenirs for your loved ones or yourself. You could get a t-shirt, mugs, hats, keychains, and so much more to remember your travels or to show someone you were thinking about them while you were away. Also, if you have a layover or delay, don’t hesitate to grab a bite to eat from the many restaurants and shops located inside the airport. If you’re jetlagged, stop by Starbucks to grab a coffee!
